Three steps

  1. Upload one photo

JPEG, PNG, or WebP, up to 8 MB. HEIC is converted in the browser. A bad file stops here.

  2. Press See this look

Tick that the photo is you and that you are 18 or older. The button reads Waiting Ns while the image is made.

  3. Keep the file

Download preview saves the watermark. Get the HD, no watermark buys the clean file of this result.

Why this look

  • Clumps, not a cloud of single strands

This run is fal-ai/image-apps-v2/hair-change with target_hairstyle curly_hair and hair_color natural.

  • Not a perm, even when the photo looks wavy

A perm is a chemical pattern, usually a repeating S, more even from root to end than hair you grew.

  • Photos that already have a pattern

If your hair is curly today, photograph it air-dried, not freshly brushed into a halo and not soaking wet.

Curls are a behavior, not a longer version of the hair you brushed this morning. They clump, they shrink, and they frizz when the weather or the model feels like it. The question what would I look like with curly hair is mostly a question about outline: how much of your face stays visible once the hair takes up more room and the ends spring up.

Clumps, not a cloud of single strands

This run is fal-ai/image-apps-v2/hair-change with target_hairstyle curly_hair and hair_color natural. The vendor call is $0.04. You are charged in a preview or a credit, and only for an image that comes back.

A curl clump is several strands sharing one spiral. A cloud of separate zigzags is frizz, or hair brushed until the clumps broke. The model invents a halo because many pictures treat "curly" as volume at any cost. Ropes in real life and a fuzzy outline here means noise was added. If you already frizz by noon, the halo may be honest and the glossy ringlets the flattery.

Shrinkage is the measurement people forget. Curly hair that reaches the shoulder when it is wet can stop at the jaw when it dries. The render almost always shows the dried, shorter outline, and it often shortens even more than your hair would, because a round silhouette reads clearly as "curls" in a thumbnail. Do not plan a length from this image. Plan a shape. If you need the inches, the Long hair filter keeps a straighter reading of length and will not show you the shrinkage.

Look at the roots. Genetic curls sometimes start straight for an inch and then spiral, or they spiral from the scalp. A wig of uniform ringlets glued to a smooth root area is a costume. We ask the model to keep your hairline and your face, and to change the pattern of the hair. A new hairline that arrives with the curls, lower or rounder than yours, is the costume slipping.

Not a perm, even when the photo looks wavy

A perm is a chemical pattern, usually a repeating S, more even from root to end than hair you grew. This page is not that chemical. It asks for curly hair. The Perm filter is a different model and a prompt about roller-set waves, not this enum. If the result here is loose beach waves with no real spiral, it undershot "curly." If the perm page comes back looking like loose curls, that page will tell you to compare the two. Do not treat them as two words for one button.

Frizz the model invents has a look: hairs of identical thickness, sticking out at regular angles, often with a shine that does not match the frizz. Real frizz is duller than the clump next to it. When every flyaway is as glossy as the ringlet, you are seeing a drawing. Also watch the ears and the neck. Curls eat ears. That part can be true. Curls that delete an ear, or merge into the collar so the clothes change shape, went past the hair.

Color stays natural. A curly redhead is not this control. Density is the other exaggeration. Fine hair curled still shows scalp at the crown when you look down. The model prefers a full circle of hair with no part. If you cannot find your scalp anywhere in the result, assume hair was added.

Photos that already have a pattern

If your hair is curly today, photograph it air-dried, not freshly brushed into a halo and not soaking wet. Wet hair shows length you do not wear. Brushed-out hair shows frizz you may have created for the camera, and the model will treat that halo as the style. If your hair is straight, a simple daylight portrait is enough. Do not hold up a picture of someone else's curls beside your head. The tool sees one photo.

Include the shoulders if you care where the curls end. A tight crop forces the ends to pile up against the cheeks, which answers a face-framing question and hides the length question. Glasses on, if curls usually tangle on the temples of the frames. That collision is a real reason people cut bangs or pin the front, and a render that tucks every curl neatly behind the arm of the glasses is editing the inconvenience out.

Adults, the checkbox "This is me and I am 18 or older." JPEG, PNG, or WebP. Under 8 MB. Short edge at least 256 pixels. Empty files, huge files, tiny files, and a missing checkbox never call the model and never charge. No model key, no charge, no image.

Logged out, you get one watermarked proof. The long edge is 800 pixels. EASYFACE crosses it diagonally. We store the fact of that proof against IP and cookie, with no daily reset and no credits for creating an account. HD without the watermark is 1 credit on success. Failures refund the credit or leave the proof unused. How to use the curly hair filter lists the clicks. Other styles sit on Hairstyles. Face blur is local if the frame includes people you should not publish.

We ask clothes, background, skin tone, and the recognizable face to stay. Compare the eyes before you compare the ringlets.

FAQ

What would I look like with curly hair if my hair is fine?

Likely with more scalp showing than the render wants to admit. A solid circle of opaque curls is the thick-hair version. Check the crown. If it is fully covered and yours never is, density was added.

Why do the curls look shorter than my hair?

Shrinkage. Spirals eat length. The picture shows a dried outline, often rounder and shorter than a pulled-straight measurement of the same hair.

Is the frizz a prediction?

Only partly. A dull, irregular halo can be a fair warning. Identical glossy spikes around a perfect ringlet are the model decorating. Do not buy product to fight a drawing.

How is this different from a perm?

This enum asks for curly hair, clumps and spirals. A perm on this site is a separate prompt for roller-set S-waves, more uniform, and it does not use the curly control. Loose waves here mean this run undershot.

Will my hairline move?

We ask it not to. Curls that arrive with a new, rounder hairline are a wig boundary. The face in that file is less trustworthy, not more curly. Last updated: 2026-10-08.
