Bangs are a short section of hair and a long argument with a forehead. People ask what would I look like with bangs at two moments: before the first cut, and again in the middle of growing them out, when the ends live in their eyes and the original idea is hard to remember. This filter adds a fringe to the hair you already have. It does not promote you into a new length.
The fringe is an addition, not a new category
The job goes through google/nano-banana-2.1/edit on fal. The prompt adds a fringe and tells the model to keep the length, the face, and the camera angle. The vendor rate is $0.0336 (Google's 1K list). You spend a preview or a credit only when an image succeeds.
Read the length in the original before you judge the fringe. Hair past the shoulders should still be past the shoulders, with a new piece across the forehead. Hair that is already a crop should not sprout into a wig that happens to include bangs. When the whole silhouette changes, the model treated "bangs" as "a different person at a salon." That file is a miss. We asked for a fringe, and we asked the length category to stay put.
A full fringe is a band across the forehead, somewhere between the brows and the lashes. Curtain bangs open near the middle and angle longer toward the cheeks, so some forehead still shows. There is no switch. The model returns one fringe. Sometimes it is a solid band. Sometimes it splits. You cannot order a wispy, cowlick-parted, brow-length version. If the picture is the wrong cousin, notice that before you book. Another try may drift. Drift is not a menu.
How much brow you can see is the part people regret in real life. A fringe that stops above the brows mostly changes how tall the forehead looks. A fringe that covers the brows changes the expression, because the brow does half the work of showing doubt or annoyance. Check whether the arch is still there. Hair drawn as a blunt bar through the eyebrows, with the brows deleted, is a mask. We ask the face, including the eyebrows, to remain.
Cowlicks and the year this photo skips
A cowlick on the hairline pushes hair up or sideways no matter how the fringe is point-cut. If your hair already breaks along a spiral near the front, a full fringe will likely split there or stand up before lunch. Generators like to comb that tuft flat. A perfectly draped result is the optimistic version. Part your hair the way it falls after a shower, photograph that break, and see whether the rendered bangs fight the same side. If the model erases the spiral, do not take the drape as proof your hairline will cooperate on a humid Tuesday.
Growing bangs out has its own calendar. The ends pass the brows, then the eyes, then catch on the cheeks. On long hair the in-between is clips for months. This image skips that. It shows a fringe that already exists, on today's length, as if the cut happened before dinner. It will not show month five. If the last grow-out was miserable, the picture cannot argue with that memory. It only says whether the finished fringe is a face you still recognize.
Fine hair makes a skinny fringe that separates into strings. Thick hair makes a shelf. The model often paints a medium, every strand the same width. Real bangs include a few pieces that miss the line. A geometric bar is neatness, not your density.
What the photo has to show
The forehead needs to be visible. If hair is already across your eyes, the model cannot see the brow it is supposed to approach, and the fringe end becomes a guess. Pull it back, or use a shot from before the grow-out started. A hat is useless. A deep side part combed over a thin spot is worse: the part may continue into the fringe and start the bangs on the wrong side of the head.
Your face, adult. The checkbox says "This is me and I am 18 or older." JPEG, PNG, or WebP, short edge at least 256 pixels, file under 8 MB. Empty, oversized, undersized, or unchecked uploads never reach the model and never cost you. A missing model key fails the same clean way.
Logged-out use is a single watermarked proof, long edge 800 pixels, EASYFACE written diagonally. IP and cookie record it. It is not replaced in the morning, and an account does not include signup credits. HD without the mark is 1 credit after success. A failure returns the credit or leaves the proof unspent. How to use the bangs filter is the button map.
Color stays natural here. A fringe you like, in a lighter color, belongs on the AI hair color changer, not as a second wish inside this run. A much shorter cut overall is the Short hair filter. Every cut in the set is listed under Hairstyles. Other people in the frame can be handled with Face blur on the device, without spending this look.
Compare shoulders between the original and the result. We ask clothes, background, and skin tone to stay, and the length category with them. Collar-length hair that suddenly reaches the waist, or a long cut sheared into a bob that merely has bangs, did not follow the request.
FAQ
What would I look like with bangs on curly hair?
The fringe tries to follow the curl, and curl shrinks, so an "eyebrow" length often lands higher than the picture in your head. This page does not restyle the rest of the hair into a new curl pattern. If the lengths explode into a different texture, the run left the brief.
Can I pick curtain bangs instead of a full fringe?
No control for that. You get one fringe. Name what you see, full band or split, and decide from that image alone.
Will my cowlick show up?
Only if the photo shows it and the model does not comb it away. Treat a flawless drape as the flattering case, not the Tuesday case.
Does this include the awkward grow-out?
No. The fringe is already cut. The months of clips are still ahead of you if you do this with scissors, and this file is silent about them.
Will the rest of my hair get shorter?
It should not. A new overall length means the model heard "haircut" when we asked for bangs. Discard that result. Last updated: 2026-10-08.
