Models we use
Last updated: 14 October 2026. Effective immediately.
EasyFace AI runs each look on a named image model. Product pages stay in everyday language. This page lists the models behind the tools, including a primary and a backup where the product has one.
1. EasyFaceModel
EasyFaceModel is our name for the photo-edit stack used on most EasyFace looks. It is built on Google Nano Banana edit models so a hairstyle, color, facial hair, face, clothes, or headshot change can keep the same person in the photo.
Technical ids in use: `google/nano-banana-edit` and `google/nano-banana-2.1/edit` (also available as Google `gemini-nano-banana-2.1`). Face blur never uses EasyFaceModel; it runs only in your browser.
2. Hairstyles
Primary: EasyFaceModel (Google Nano Banana edit).
Backup: fal Hair Change (`fal-ai/image-apps-v2/hair-change`) on supported cuts such as buzz cut, long hair, and curly hair. Other hairstyle pages stay on EasyFaceModel with Nano Banana 2.1 edit as the alternate path.
3. Hair color
Primary: EasyFaceModel (Google Nano Banana edit).
Backup: Google Nano Banana 2.1 edit (`google/nano-banana-2.1/edit`). Color pages keep length and hairline while shifting color.
4. Facial hair and beard
Primary: EasyFaceModel (Google Nano Banana edit), including beard, mustache, goatee, and no-beard pages.
Backup: Google Nano Banana 2.1 edit. There is no separate beard-only endpoint; the same edit stack runs with a beard or clean-shave prompt.
5. Face
Primary: EasyFaceModel (Google Nano Banana edit) for smile, age, eye color, skin tone, and related face pages.
Backup: Google Nano Banana 2.1 edit.
6. Clothes and headshots
Primary: EasyFaceModel (Google Nano Banana edit).
Backup: Google Nano Banana 2.1 edit.
7. Photo effects and the Models menu
Effects let you pick among leading image models we have connected, including Ideogram V4, GPT Image (2.5 / 2 / 1.5), Nano Banana (2 / Pro / base), Seedream (5 Lite / 4.5 / 4), Flux (2 Max, Kontext Max, Kontext Pro), and Qwen Image (3 Pro / base). Auto uses Nano Banana edit.
Plan and pack prices are on Pricing.
8. Enhance, background, and object remove
Enhance primary: fal Clarity Upscaler (`fal-ai/clarity-upscaler`).
Background changer and object remover primary: EasyFaceModel (Google Nano Banana 2.1 edit), with a prompt written for that tool.
9. Notes
We do not sell your photo. The model receives the upload only for that generation.
Model availability can change as vendors update their catalogs. See also the terms and pricing.
